Adam joined The Omerta Group in 2021 having spent over 10 years’ covering senior technology mandates across Investment Banking, Asset Management and Systematic Markets in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
He has a track record of delivering for clients across the Technology C-Suite, traditionally including CTO & CIO. In line with the rise of new senior disciplines within Technology, Adam has recently covered searches across Financial Services clients for CISO, CDO (Data) and CPO (Product) roles.
Adam graduated from Leeds University and has spent time working across Asia as well as New York.
Bradley Garland
Bradley leads The Omerta Group’s Asia Pacific business and is a senior member of the Asset Management and Global Markets practices.
Bradley joined The Omerta Group in 2016 and has over 18 years’ of experience in executive search, across Europe and Asia. He has made senior level placements with both buy side and sell side across; sales and distribution, investment and research, trading, structuring, origination and financing.
Previously, he was a founding member of an Asian focused, boutique search firm specialised in Fixed Income, Currencies and Financing. Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2008, Bradley worked in London for a prominent executive search firm leading the Structured Finance Practice, with a specific specialisation in Asset Backed Securitisation, Whole Business Securitisation, ABS Research and Real Estate Financing, CMBS and Subprime Lending.
Bradley read Equine Science at the University of the West of England.
Gabriella Willingham
Gabriella joined the Omerta group in 2022, supporting the Quant and Investment professional team across Global Systematic Markets, Asset Management and Global Markets landscape.

Prior to joining, Gabriella worked as an Associate with a boutique search firm based in New Jersey. She partners with quantitative funds, proprietary trading firms and tech start-ups across their algorithm development and technology roles.

Gabriella graduated summa cum laude in Economics from Middlebury College.
Jason Mort
Jason is the CEO of The Omerta Group, responsible for key client relationships and overall management of the firm globally.
Jason also leads The Omerta Group’s Digital Assets Practice, concentrating the firm’s 20+ years of expertise in Global Markets across Cryptocurrency, Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
Through his two-decade career in Executive Search, Jason has built up a deep network across global financial services and has completed a considerable number of mandates across multiple jurisdictions for his clients, including significant team moves and creation of new revenue streams.
His clients include prominent Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, Proprietary Trading Firms, Exchanges, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Commodity Trading Houses and Family Offices.
Prior to his career in Executive Search, Jason worked in Investment Banking as a Fixed Income Trader.
Jason read Economics & Business Finance at Brunel University.
Jim Brownwood
Jim runs the Global Systematic Markets practice, based in London.
His coverage extends across hedge funds, asset managers, banks, proprietary trading companies and family offices. He specialises in placing mid level to senior electronic market makers, systematic portfolio managers, high frequency traders, systematic quantitative researchers, eCommerce sales people and product developers.
Jim returned to The Omerta Group after 18 months away working on an entrepreneurial venture, having co-ran the global FX practice within the firm for four years previously. He has a long history of partnering with his clients in order to better understand the nuances of their culture and requirements. He’s helped his clients strategically build and develop multiple businesses with funds and global investment banks over the past 10 years across EMEA, America and Asia.
Michael Stover
Michael is Head of Americas, leading The Omerta Group’s regional client relationships, strategic development and senior search mandates across Global Markets, Global Systematic Markets, Investment Banking and Asset Management, based in New York.
Michael has had significant global front-office recruiting experience, with his career spanning 20 years working at a strategic level as a talent acquisition leader in the U.S., EMEA and Asia markets. His coverage has included; Global Securities (Equities, Fixed Income & Research), Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management, International Banking, Transaction Banking, Wealth Management and Shared Services senior recruitment.
Prior to joining Omerta, Michael was a Managing Director at a boutique executive search firm focused on the global financial services industry, where he was responsible for the origination of new business development and execution of searches across global markets and asset management.
Michael’s career has also included senior talent acquisition roles at Citadel, UBS, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered Bank and Wachovia/Wells Fargo.
Peter Morters
Peter rejoined The Omerta Group in 2020 and is based in the London office.
He brings 16 years’ of search experience and was previously at Bronzegate where he served as a Partner, appointing CFOs and senior finance leaders across sectors within private equity, listed and private companies.
Peter began his career with The Omerta Group. His first tenure with Omerta saw successive appointments, latterly serving as Regional Head of The Americas based in New York.
Peter is a Masters graduate and alumnus of Manchester University.
Taylor Watson
Taylor joined The Omerta Group at the beginning of 2022 and works as a Senior Associate sitting in the Global Systematic Markets Practice based in London.
Prior to The Omerta Group, he worked at a Global contingent firm where he was responsible for servicing a global client base, focusing on those in the Digital Assets Markets.
Taylor read Industrial Economics and Insurance at the University of Nottingham.
